The Planet - US Distribution News
Word just in on the US DVD distribution of 'The Planet.' MTI Home Video have set June 10th, as the release date for the movie. The NTSC version will also feature the making of documentary 'Crisis Management,' as well as cast and crew bio's, Spanish subtitle option, 5.1 surround sound and will be presented in 16:9 widescreen format.

Stirton Productions is proud to announce the retail DVD distribution of, The Planet, in the USA and Japan. Our agent for The Planet, CUT Entertainment Group, has signed a deal with MTI Home Video in the US and the Presidio Corporation for the dubbed version in Japan. Release dates will be available soon.

Award Notification
The recent showing of 'The Planet,' at The Festival of Fantastic Film in Manchester, has resulted in it's first award. It has received a 'Highly Commended,' in the independent film category.
Needless to say, we are all very pleased with the award, and would like to thank all involved in it's selection.

Fantastic Festival Screening
'The Planet,' was shown recently at The Festival of Fantastic Films in Manchester (England) and received a pretty involved review by MJ Simpson of UK, SF magazine, 'SFX.' We'd like to thank Mr. Simpson for his review and the festival organisers for showing an interest in the movie and screening it.
