The Crew

Stirton Productions latest production, 'The Planet', was created by a core of only four people, each performing multiple roles. In the case of director Mark Stirton, about 15. There were of course many more people involved behind the scenes, but a special mention must go to production manager Sheila Fraser for all her hard work and support.

What keeps a small team like this together on the two years it took to complete the production? Regular meetings and plenty of coffee and biscuits (especially Tunnock's caramel wavers).

The Director / Writer / Editor / Etc.

Mark Stirton, is the driving force behind the project. A veteran of many short movies, "The Planet" is his first feature length film. A mammoth task for any director especially when you consider how many crew are involved.

The Producer / Art Director / Etc.

Michael Clark, has acted in, produced and provided physical effects for many Stirton Production projects. Michael also oversees the design aspects of the film including prop design and manufacture, 3D environments and texturing.

Model - Maker / Co-Producer/ Etc.

Our main modeler, Kerwin Robertson. Kerwin is responsible for all the construction prior to texturing, many of the models are from his original designs. Kerwin has also become our main systems specialist and an invaluable member of the team.

Composer - Nicky Fraser

Nicky is responsible for the music in the production, an Aberdeen based DJ she is a regular sight in many of the clubs in the city. This is her first score for a feature film and she has provided an excellent soundtrack which works so well with the energy of the movie.
